CICLSAL, Diocesan Right Institute Established in Another Diocese, 1991. Private.
An institute of women religious having been erected by the bishop of a diocese with a nihil obstat from the Holy See, petitioned to move and become established as an institute of diocesan right in another diocese. The bishop of the first diocese consulted CICLSAL assuming that, in light of the nihil obstat, a recognitio should be obtained from the Holy See.
The rescript acknowledged the information regarding the relocation of the central administration of the diocesan institute. However, it advised that there was no need for any approval by CICLSAL once the two bishops concerned agree on the transfer of the religious institute from the one diocese to the other.
